When participants pay a registration fee, Placrd takes a small percentage (8-10%) as a platform fee. This is deducted automatically via Stripe Connect. No credits are consumed for paid events.

Each free-event registration uses credits from your balance. You start with 25 free credits on signup. When you need more, you can purchase credit packs with bulk discounts.

New free-event registrations are held as pending until you add credits. Registrants are notified their registration is being processed. Once you add credits, pending registrations are confirmed automatically. You can also set up auto-reload to prevent this.

No hidden fees from Placrd. For paid events, the only additional cost is Stripe's standard payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). For free events, you only pay for the credits you use. All features are included for every organizer.

Payouts are processed automatically through Stripe within 2-7 business days after your event concludes.

Auto-reload automatically purchases credits when your balance drops below a threshold you set. This prevents registrations from being held. You save a payment method and choose a credit pack, and the rest is automatic.

No, voting is completely free for attendees. They simply scan a QR code with their phone camera and vote; no app download, no account creation, and no payment required.

Yes. There are no tiers or feature gating. Every organizer gets access to unlimited events, QR voting, leaderboards, placards, Stripe payouts, analytics, custom branding, and everything else Placrd offers.
